Summer Instrumental Music School

2024 RUTHERFORD SUMMER MUSIC SCHOOL   The Rutherford Summer Instrumental Music School will once again be offered this  summer for all students entering grades 4 through 9 in September 2024. Class Orientation   Day will occur on Monday, July 8th, at 9:00 AM in the Rutherford High School Band Room 108. Instructional lessons will take place from Tuesday, July 9th, through Friday, July 26th. Earth Day 2024

This year marked the 54th anniversary of Earth Day!  Kindergarteners participated in a school wide planting coordinated by our PTA.  Students were actively involved in the planting process, while also learning about the different needs of plants, the difference between annual and perennial plants, and the role plants play in our ecosystem!  We appreciate the hard work of our students and PTA!  This gift will continue to flourish for years to come! … [Read more...] about Earth Day 2024

RHS Concert Choir Performs at Carnegie Hall

Members of the Rutherford High School Concert Choir under the direction of Mrs. Patricia Blanchard were recently part of the National Symphonic Chorus which performed at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The National Symphonic Chorus accepts members from all over the United States and Canada.
