Students in third grade at Lincoln School performed for family and friends at their annual concert. Save the Dates! Registration for Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) will be opening March 2, 2020. The Summer Enrichment Academy (formerly known as Jumpstart for incoming K/1 students) is for incoming students in grades K-3. Lincoln’s Great Kindness Challenge Makes NJ12 News
Channel NJ12 features a segment, Education Matters, and highlighted Lincoln on this segment today. A camera crew visited Lincoln yesterday to see what was happening for the Great Kindness Challenge. Students were making crafts, thank you cards and paper flowers to give to special people as a way of being kind. Students were Crazy for Kindness yesterday and wore crazy hairstyles. Promoting Literacy at Home
Parents play a critical role in developing children who are life-long readers. Mr. Faigenbaum, a reading specialist at Lincoln and Washington, conducted a workshop for parents on how to promote literacy at home. Mr. Faigenbaum provided parents with a plethora of fun-filled strategies and activities to promote literacy. Parents were able to ask questions about reading and writing.
