Our High School students were recognized for having the most improved rate of seatbelt use of 24 schools that took on a Traffic Safety Challenge. The program included two unannounced seatbelt checks. RHS students increased their seatbelt use by 20%, topping the entire group. Rutherford School District Makes AP Honor Roll
Rutherford Public Schools is one of 250 districts in the United States and Canada to be honored by the College Board with placement on its 10th Annual AP District Honor Roll. To be included, Rutherford High School’s student participation had to improve compared to 2017 levels. Desktop Publishing students utilized their Photoshop skills to create original magazine covers. The project demonstrated their ability to layout a page and organize information in a visually appealing manner. Students also referenced the basic elements of design, typography and color psychology while creating this project.
