Letter Writing
Kindergarteners wrote letters to various people in their lives. Mrs. Caughey received quite a few from the students with requests for longer PE periods, lunch in school, and even faster, taller slides for the playground. Children were very creative with their writing. One student even wrote to the Tooth Fairy, asking for the Tooth Fairy to increase her pay per tooth because she loves shopping at #Target! What an amazing year of growth by our students!
Staff Spotlight – Danielle Angelson
Meet Mrs. Danielle Angelson, a kindergarten teacher for the Rutherford School District. Her love for teaching, and her students, is unwavering and really showed during the past year and a half. During these challenging times, Mrs. Angelson has gone above and beyond to provide a safe and happy learning environment for our students during the pandemic. Mrs. Angelson came up with various themed days such as hat day, pajama day, jersey day and even "Fancy Fridays" during which students could come to Zoom sessions all dressed up when remote learning began in 2020.
