Dear Parents We have used all of the allotted snow days for this school year. Therefore, school will be in session on Friday, May 28. That day will be a "traditional" one-session day for the entire District. Please refer to the one-session day schedule for your child's school. The District will be closed on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day. Tuesday, June 1 is a professional development day for all faculty and staff. BCBOH Revised Rules
As you are aware, the majority of COVID19 quarantines and all of our school closures have been due to the Bergen County Department of Health's broad interpretation of "possible exposure" that did not follow the guidelines of the CDC and the NJDOH regarding close contact. While understanding and appreciating the BCDOH’s stance of taking “an abundance of caution,” our schools have been closed many times this year due to a lack of staff caused by quarantines of teachers who were never considered “close contacts" by NJDOH and CDC guidelines.
