Union Middle School 8th Graders Teach Math at Washington School!
This week, our first graders at Washington School had some very special guest teachers—8th-grade students from Union Middle School! As part of a cross-grade collaboration, the middle schoolers planned and taught engaging 30-minute math lessons on first-grade topics like addition, subtraction, telling time, and identifying shapes. The 8th graders did a fantastic job breaking down concepts, creating interactive activities, and keeping our young learners excited about math.
