The Montclair Art Museum guided students to create their own animal-inspired installation, with the theme of animals in the sky, on land, underwater, and underground by reusing items that may have previously been discarded. Old books, bottle tops, paper scraps, and paper roll tubes were some of the materials used to create jellyfish, groundhogs, birds, and octopus, each with their own unique touch! Read Across America is the nation's largest celebration of reading! Throughout the week students celebrated reading with a variety of diverse texts! Families were encouraged to join in the fun and special guests readers shared their love of reading through read alouds.
