Meet Mrs. Julie Frattarola, Pierrepont School Nurse, Service Club advisor, yearbook and school store advisor, and overall team player.
Mrs. Frattarola has been a monumental source of assistance with reopening Pierrepont safely, while maintaining a sense of normalcy for the kids. Mrs. Frattarola is always available to answer any health-related questions, and while doing so adds an extra layer of comfort for students and staff during this unusual school year. She has devoted much of her time after hours and on weekends working with administration on tasks and procedures that require her expertise and attention.
Not only does Mrs. Frattarola serve as our school nurse, she is
As one of the Service Club advisors, Mrs. Frattarola has managed to keep students involved in benevolent acts of kindness, despite being in a pandemic, including the creation of student made Bookmarks and Thanksgiving cards for the Senior Citizens at the Kip Center, and creating and sending Holiday cards to local charities. Mrs. Frattarola and the Service Club are currently busy on spreading smore more kindness by sharing Valentine messages to staff, creating bags filled with needed supplies for a local charity, and filling candy bags for the Rutherford Police Department.
One may also find Mrs. Frattarola snapping pictures throughout the year, as she is also the yearbook advisor, who takes pride in preserving Pierrepont memories and events for students and staff. While Mrs. Frattarola is not busy making Pierrepont school a safe and happy “home”, she volunteers her time administering COVID vaccines at New Bridge Medical Center. We are so grateful for Mrs. Frattarola- a wonderful nurse and colleague for everyone at Pierrepont School.
