Third graders worked with staff of the Rutherford Police Department to complete the LEAD course. LEAD stands for Law Enforcement Against Drugs. Students participated in activities that promoted social and emotional learning and the decision making process. The program reinforced making healthy choices. Graduates of the LEAD program received t-shirts and certificates from Officer Ahearn and Sergeant Zeigler. Thank you to Chief Russo and the RPD for supporting this program. The program will be implemented with another group of third graders after the new year.
