Sixty parents from Washington School, Lincoln School and the Kindergarten Center attended a workshop this morning at Washington School titled “What Is the DRA”? Washington School Reading Specialist, Mrs. Rachel Mejias, provided an informative presentation on all of the components of the Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA). Each parent left with a packet of information and strategies they can use at home to guide their child’s reading progression, regardless of their grade or present reading level.
