Rutherford Public Schools is excited to announce an online student registration/data validation system for the 2017-2018 school year. PowerSchool Registration (also known as InfoSnap) allows the district to verify all student demographic, emergency, and medical information for your child prior to the start of the new school year. This system also allows you to electronically sign many of the annual permission forms for school district policies. This online process replaces hard copy student registration and permission forms that you received in the annual summer mailing or that your child brought home on the first day of school.
Beginning on Monday, August 14 (this is a change from the original Tuesday, August 15 date) parents will receive an email (or letter if we don’t have an email address on file) with instructions on how to access the system for your child. The email/letter will contain a link/instructions and a secure “snapcode” that links directly to your student’s information. Emails will be sent in batches over a 3-day period — Monday, August 14 – Wednesday, August 16). Please check your spam folder if you do not receive an email.
We would appreciate if all families would complete these online forms as soon as possible after receiving the email/letter. Your child’s registration for the 2017-2018 school year will not be complete until the electronic registration has been submitted.
