In 2005, the New Jersey Legislature enacted the education law (N.J.S.A. 18A:7A‐10) that established requirements to ensure that school districts are providing a thorough and efficient education for all students. The New Jersey Department of Education created regulations to implement the law. The New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC) is the monitoring process that has been established. Every three years, school districts initiate QSAC by a self‐evaluation process. Once this self‐evaluation is completed in the five District Performance Review (DPR) areas of the model, the Department’s county offices of education, led by executive county superintendents conduct a verification process. The self-evaluation conducted is attached below. A “passing score ” of 80 is required in every area. The Board of Education will be asked to approve the submission of the self-evaluation at the December 10 meeting.
