For the seventh consecutive year, Rutherford Public Schools will be conducting a Jumpstart Program. The program is open to all Rutherford students registered in kindergarten or grade 1 for the upcoming 2018 – 2019 school year. The program is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 2, 2018, and end on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. at Lincoln School at 414 Montross Avenue. During the 2017-2018 school year, the district has used all allocated snow days plus one additional day. Therefore, the Board of Education has approved the following changes to the 2017-2018 School Calendar: School will be open for a one-session day on Friday, May 25 (the Friday before Memorial Day).
