...was celebrated in conjunction with Read Across Rutherford on Monday, March 2. Students from Rutherford High School visited and interacted with students across Rutherford, ranging from preschool to grade 3. During their visit to the Kindergarten Center, kindergarteners enjoyed listening to stories by Dr. Suess, working on story-related crafts, and playing with students on the playground. Kindergarten students shined brightly at the 55Kip Center. Students created kind messages and delivered them with a smile as they spread kindness. Excitement filled the Kindergarten Center the week of January 27th as students participated in THE GREAT KINDNESS CHALLENGE! Silly socks, crazy hair, class spirit and jersey day all promoted unique opportunities to empower the students to expand the culture of kindness.
