Rutherford Public School students in grades 7, 9, 10 and 11 have the great opportunity to utilize their district-issued Chromebook for learning during the summer months. Students are encouraged to use their devices over the summer to complete summer assignments and to pursue hobbies and other interests as long as those pursuits would be appropriate on a school-issued device. Jack Hurley Receives BCASA “Distinguished Service Award”
On Friday June 7, 2019, Jack Hurley, Superintendent of Rutherford Public Schools, was honored by the Bergen County Association of School Administrators with their "Distinguished Service Award" at a luncheon at Seasons in Washington Township. Steve Yurchack, Superintendent of the North Arlington Public Schools made the presentation on behalf of the BCASA.
