Meet Ms. Jacki Mann, a special education teacher at Pierrepont School. Ms. Mann first started working in the district 10 years ago as a substitute teacher and eventually became a 1:1 teaching assistant before moving into the role she’s in now. Ms. Mann is an influential member of our new Positive Behavior Support in Schools (PBSIS) team, who is happy to offer her technological skills as we work to implement the program. Staff Spotlight – Francesca Mastropierro
Meet Ms. Francesca Mastropierro, Union Middle School’s 7th grade leave-replacement guidance counselor. Ms. Mastropierro’s counseling services focus on student academic and social emotional well-being, and her door is always open for students and staff. Ms. Mastropierro is also the advisor of the UMS Service Club. During the month of October, Ms. Mastropierro and the Service Club ran a “guess how many candy corn are in a jar” fundraiser with all the proceeds going to the Susan G.
