Meeting Agenda for March 16, 2020
As of this writing, the Board of Education meeting planned for Monday, March 16 will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the High School cafeteria. However, the presentation by Parette Somjen Architects and EPIC Management will not take place. It will be rescheduled for the April 6 meeting. Seats will be placed 6 feet apart, as recommended by the NJ Department of Health, and anyone who does not feel well should not attend. COVID 19 Plans
The New Jersey Department of Education has charged districts with developing plans for instruction at home in the event that the school district needs to close due to a public health-related matter. Over the past week, the Administrative team has collaboratively developed plans. The goal is to keep the teaching and learning moving forward without having significant breaks in instruction. The District is equipped to provide a valuable learning experience for students through a virtual teaching/learning environment. Rutherford HS Academic Decathlon Team Wins Medium School State Championship
The Team Is Heading to Alaska for Nationals Rutherford, N.J. – The Rutherford High School Academic Decathlon Team won the Medium School Championship in the state competition over the weekend on February 29, earning a spot at the national competition in Anchorage, Alaska.
