Pierrepont School Spelling Bee
On January 24, Pierrepont School hosted its annual spelling bee. Forty eight spellers, representing finalists from each homeroom, gathered for an intense afternoon of spelling. Throughout many rounds over 220 words were spelled and the Scripps National Spelling Bee list was exhausted. Two sixth graders, Zadie Castellanos and Debora Morales Menjivar, were the final two spellers. Our winner, Zadie Castellanos, will represent Pierrepont School at the county level spelling bee in March. Parents/guardians must complete the online registration https://www.rutherfordschools.org/enrollmentinformation/. Once completed, please call the Board of Education to schedule an appointment for residency verification.
