Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we celebrated International Social-Emotional Learning Day (SEL).\u00a0 Students in all grades participated.\u00a0 The day started with our Art Teacher, Mrs. Clossey, ringing the singing bowl and conducting breathing and yoga exercises.\u00a0 Below are some students from Mrs. Podolanczuk and Ms. Sampedro&#8217;s Grade 3 class in front of the Bee Kind! wall.\u00a0 Each class completed a &#8220;honeycomb&#8221; showing how to be kind to others and ourselves.\u00a0 Ms. Catalano&#8217;s Grade 1 students created a booklet entitled &#8220;The ABCs of Positivity.&#8221;\u00a0 Grade 2 students in Mrs. DeRosa and Ms. Lutz&#8217;s class talked about what it means to believe in yourself and what makes a happy heart.\u00a0 The Pre-K 3 and 4 students colored in &#8220;Happy Bees&#8221;.They discussed what it means to be kind and watched Pete the Cat&#8217;s Groovy Guide to Kindness and listened to songs.<\/p>\n<p><img
