First Graders in Mrs. Minervini’s class took some time to\u00a0investigate leaves. Students learned about different types of leaves, the reason they fall during autumn, and what causes leaves to change color. Students collected leaves to investigate up close and made leaf rubbings. As a concluding activity, the class enjoyed listening to the story\u00a0Leaf Man\u00a0<\/u>by Lois Ehlert and created their own leaf art!<\/p>\n
