{"id":2257,"date":"2020-10-28T09:44:28","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T13:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/washington\/?p=2257"},"modified":"2020-10-28T09:44:28","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T13:44:28","slug":"mask-usage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/washington\/mask-usage\/","title":{"rendered":"Mask Usage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we move forward, it is important we continue to promote student and community safety by remembering the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an extra mask in your child\u2019s backpack \u2013 we have extras, but sometimes they prefer their own.<\/li>\n<li>Masks should be the correct size for your child.\u00a0 This means it is tight fitting around the nose and mouth.<\/li>\n<li>Disposable masks are not to be reworn and reusable cloth masks should be cleaned daily as they can easily become soiled throughout the day.<\/li>\n<li>Parents\/guardians should wear masks when dropping off and picking up children from school and when on school property.\u00a0 Modeling good mask routines helps parents, children and members of the community.<\/li>\n<li><b>Masks with valves are not acceptable as they do not prevent transmission of disease to others.\u00a0 Gaiters are also not acceptable.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you to all the students, parents and staff for assisting in keeping the community safe so we can continue to experience the joys of being in school.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2258\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/washington\/files\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-28-at-8.58.15-AM-300x289.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"124\" height=\"119\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/washington\/files\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-28-at-8.58.15-AM-300x289.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/washington\/files\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-28-at-8.58.15-AM.png 626w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 124px) 100vw, 124px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we move forward, it is important we continue to promote student and community safety by remembering the following: Have an extra mask in your child\u2019s backpack \u2013 we have extras, but sometimes they prefer their own.
