Congratulations to the Union Middle School Odyssey of the Mind teams! Led by their coach, Mr. Jonathan Evans, the seventh and eighth-grade teams participated in a regional competition at Branchburg Central Middle School on Saturday, February 29th. Team members started working back in September and began applying their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to creating art, and executed their live performance at the competition on the 29th. The seventh-grade team beat their personal best and placed third, while the eighth-grade team placed first! The eighth-grade team will now begin preparing for the April state finals, which will take place in Princeton. Good luck to Mr. Evans and his talented teams as they prepare for the next step!
