{"id":7368,"date":"2026-03-02T10:00:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T15:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/?p=7368"},"modified":"2026-03-02T10:00:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T15:00:11","slug":"word-from-the-principal-62","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/word-from-the-principal-62\/","title":{"rendered":"Word from the Principal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">March is an exciting and busy time here at RHS.\u00a0 We just concluded a successful winter season.\u00a0 As busy as the winter season was, we have an even busier spring ahead.\u00a0 Mrs. Gagliardo has been working diligently on NJGPA testing which all 11th graders must take.\u00a0 This (NJGPA) Graduation Proficiency Assessment will take place in March and a detailed schedule will be shared shortly.\u00a0 There will be a Career Fair on March 11.\u00a0 Our school musical, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Footloose,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be performed on March 13, 14 and 15.\u00a0 The popular Mike Cassidy Shamrock \u2018N Run 5K will also take place on the morning of March 14. \u00a0 Many of our students and staff volunteer for this wonderful cause.\u00a0 The REF is sponsoring a Harlem Wizards night on March 18.\u00a0 The most popular Spirit Week will take place during the week of March 23.
