Students in Ms. Cafiero’s Foods classes are learning about the proper way to use knives when slicing, cutting, chopping, and dicing. Today they practiced using kinetic sand which allows students to see the outcome without generating additional food waste. The foods classes don’t only teach nutrition and traditional “cooking skills,” but also safety in the kitchen environment.<\/p>\n
