{"id":6427,"date":"2020-03-13T13:15:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T17:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/?p=6427"},"modified":"2020-03-13T13:13:12","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T17:13:12","slug":"school-closing-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/school-closing-information\/","title":{"rendered":"School Closing Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>As of March 13 at 3:00 pm,\u00a0 all schools will be closed and any school-related activities are canceled.\u00a0 Students are required to regularly check their school email throughout each day.<\/li>\n<li>The detailed bell and day schedule is shared via Google Classroom as well as posted on our school website.\u00a0 Instruction will begin on Wednesday, March 18 which is a C day.<\/li>\n<li>Students must sign in correctly at 8:50 am to HR to be marked present.\u00a0 If a student signs in late, they MUST email their homeroom teacher.<\/li>\n<li>Please remember that these days will count towards the student\u2019s attendance policy.<\/li>\n<li>Students should bring home devices and chargers by 3:00 pm on March 13 and be sure to clean out lockers of any food as well as other items they will need.<\/li>\n<li>Homeroom starts at 8:50 am and Block 1 will begin at 9:00 am. Each block will be 40 minutes long with a 5-minute break in between. Students must be logged in as an active participant during their assigned class.\u00a0 The day will end at 1:25.<\/li>\n<li>Benchmarks &#8211; are canceled for Quarter 3.<\/li>\n<li>Demerits &#8211; every student will receive credit for 2 demerits each day that the school is closed.<\/li>\n<li>Tests and Quizzes will be given as teachers see fit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of March 13 at 3:00 pm,\u00a0 all schools will be closed and any school-related activities are canceled.\u00a0 Students are required to regularly check their school email throughout each day.
