{"id":6341,"date":"2020-01-16T13:53:53","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T18:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/?p=6341"},"modified":"2020-01-16T13:53:53","modified_gmt":"2020-01-16T18:53:53","slug":"the-trial-of-victor-frankenstein","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/rhs\/the-trial-of-victor-frankenstein\/","title":{"rendered":"The Trial of Victor Frankenstein"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a culminating activity, Mr. Stracco&#8217;s Honors 400 English Class performed a mock trial for the novel,\u00a0<u>Frankenstein.<\/u>\u00a0 The students put the main character Victor Frankenstein, the creator of the Creature, on trial for\u00a0<span id=\"m_-8014664518283302827m_6680442664446026445gmail-docs-internal-guid-78cadf57-7fff-fb7b-1b01-5cc19216690b\">obstruction of justice during the trial of Justine Moritz, third-degree murder for the death of William Frankenstein, and first-degree murder for both Henry Clerval and Elizabeth Lavenza.<\/span> Every student had a role to perform during this activity from Attorneys, to witnesses, to jury members. Mr. DeBari, Assistant Principal, was the judge during the trial. After a three day trial, students found Victor Frankenstein guilty on all accounts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6342\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6342\" style=\"width: 3024px\"
