Over the last few months, students\u00a0in 6th\u00a0grade\u00a0Gifted and Talented classes have worked in small groups to solve a “fuzzy challenge.”\u00a0 A “fuzzy challenge” is not clear at the start of the assignment.\u00a0 The challenge is complex and mult-dimensional.\u00a0 Very much like real-life situations, all of the teams had the same task, but were competing to create a better solution than other\u00a0teams.\u00a0 Potential solutions changed as the process\u00a0evolved. Students\u00a0gave\u00a0their final\u00a0presentations\u00a0and solutions this morning in front of judges, parents, and Ms. Almaliah in the Pierrepont MPR.<\/p>\n
