Pierrepont School is excited to kick off our Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Hoops for Heart)!\u00a0 <\/strong>This year the students at Pierrepont will have the opportunity to help spread kindness while raising awareness about heart disease and stroke.\u00a0 Our goal is to create a hallway of kindness!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fundraising will run from February 24 \u2013 March 13.\u00a0 By signing up online, students will be encouraged to take a kindness pledge. \u00a0They then can set up their fundraising pages ang begin to spread awareness about heart disease and stroke. By signing up online, students will automatically have their name written on a heart that will be displayed outside of the Gymnasium and added to our kindness hallway. Directions can be found below.<\/p>\n

How to donate online:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0<\/strong>Go to american.heart.org\/kidsheartchallenge\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Click on Register Now<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>In the Search For Your School <\/strong>area, click on your state, enter the city where your school is located and click the first letter of your school\u2019s name. Once you find your school, click on Join Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Create your own Username and Password and answer a security question. Click Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Fill out the registration form. Review the Online Waiver <\/strong>and click the box to accept it. Once you are done, click the Continue <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 A Share With Your Friends <\/strong>screen will pop up. Enter a message that you would like to share via social media and click on the program(s) that you would like to use. Once you are done, click the Publish <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n
