Bike Rodeo<\/strong>– is June 5th for 3B and 3C and June 8th for 3H and 3K.<\/p>\n If your child has a bike, please have your child bring the bike to school on your assigned day.\u00a0 Please label your bike by putting your child’s name on a piece of masking tape. Parents should either park and walk the bike to the Vreeland driveway area or walk alongside as your child rides to school.\u00a0 The driveway will have cones with teachers’ names indicating where to park your bike.\u00a0 Bikes will be lined up in a straight line to allow for easy identification and access.\u00a0 There will be a Lincoln Staff member present in the morning to assist.\u00a0 If your child is riding their bike to school, they may bring their personal helmet up to the classroom.\u00a0 At dismissal, please collect your bike and walk your bike to the sidewalk before riding.\u00a0 Please be mindful of pedestrians.\u00a0 Remember sunscreen and water bottles.<\/p>\n We need some assistance this day from 8:30-11:30am. I need extra bikes and parent volunteers.\u00a0 We are looking for 3 parent volunteers each day.\u00a0 If you are able to volunteer, please contact me.\u00a0 If you are able to share your bike on the day your class is not participating, please let me know that as well.\u00a0 We are looking for 5 bikes.\u00a0 Please consider sharing your child’s bike on the day he\/she is not scheduled.<\/p>\n Move-Up Program<\/strong>– We have a short 30 minute program at the end of the year to wish our students well.\u00a0 They sing and remember their Lincoln days.\u00a0 It is a wonderful event for you and the family.\u00a0\u00a0 It starts at 9 and is usually over at 9:30 a.m.\u00a0\u00a0 Students have a breakfast and get their yearbooks about 10 a.m.\u00a0 The breakfast and year book signing is for the students only.\u00a0 The PTA handles the volunteers for this event.\u00a0\u00a0 See attached for more information.<\/p>\n Mary Poppins Trip<\/strong>– I saw the play last night and it is very good.\u00a0 The students should enjoy the show.\u00a0 See the attached for more information.\u00a0 Please try to head over to school around 5 p.m.\u00a0 As you know, traffic can interfere with our arrival time so please be understanding.<\/p>\n Clap-Out<\/strong>–\u00a0\u00a0 The third graders walk out of Lincoln for the last time like stars.\u00a0 This starts at 12:35 p.m.<\/p>\n Your teachers will inform you about Tar Beach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I know it is a hectic time, but these are days the children remember!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Grade 3 students have a busy month with activities.\u00a0 Today they even went to visit Pierrepont!\u00a0 See picture. \u00a0 We have four events that need your attention: Bike Rodeo, Mary Poppins Trip, Move-Up Program and Clap Out.
