Mrs. Valente\u2019s 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0grade class recently read a book entitled,\u00a0The Arabic Quilt, An Immigrant Story<\/em>, as part of their\u00a0Advancing Literacy Program<\/em>. They learned about the importance of culture and language. The class enjoyed the story and Mrs. Syed and her sister came in to help the students write their names in Arabic so they could create their own quilt.<\/p>\n
