The PTA organized donations from Lincoln families this month for an animal shelter, Brick City Rescue.\u00a0 Students placed items under our Giving Tree in the main foyer of the school.\u00a0 Mrs. Williams, a parent and Brick City Rescue volunteer, along with other trainer\/volunteers brought \u201cTurtle,\u201d the pit bull, to do a \u201cmeet and greet\u201d today.\u00a0 Turtle walked our hallways thanking the students for their generosity. \u00a0This was a valuable lesson for our children to think of our community organizations during this holiday season.\u00a0 Brick City Rescue was able to take 8 boxes of food and toys, as well as 10 dog beds and bowls, back to the shelter.<\/p>\n
