Teachers then guided students through various projects: giving heart, self-portrait, read-alouds, games, etc. Students created cards to send to the members of the KIPP Center.<\/p>\n<p>Students in Grade 3: Ms. Kochan\u2019s class participated in the yoga Mindful Moment and Mrs. Mayfield\u2019s class played games and other fun activities.<\/p>\n<p>Students in Community 201 spent part of SEL Day expressing their creativity with a Circle Drawing exercise. Each student started with the exact same circle on their paper and then added to the page to create\u00a0their own image.
