This has certainly been a week of change as we all learned something new, especially that we miss our traditional school.\u00a0 \u00a0However, I love hearing how we are overcoming obstacles, increasing our patience, and extending our learning platforms.\u00a0 You are making me proud!<\/p>\n
I have heard from your teachers and asked them to send me some areas\u00a0 in which we can all use some clarification. I will touch on some below:<\/p>\n
Schedule: I highly recommend you keep a routine which means getting up, dressing, eating breakfast and brushing your teeth and hair.\u00a0 Please make sure you say, “Good morning!” to everyone in your house!\u00a0 This will help you feel like you are ready to start your day.\u00a0 Check your teacher’s website\/classroom page and make a list of what has to be done.\u00a0 Your teachers always posted your schedule in school and you can do the same at home.\u00a0 \u00a0Check tasks off when completed.\u00a0 When it is time for a special class or reading, check those classroom pages too.<\/p>\n
Logging on to Classroom- You need to be using your student account<\/strong> , not your parent’s account.\u00a0 If you need codes, just email your teacher.<\/p>\n Flexibility: If your home is like mine, you are all trying to work at the same time.\u00a0 It is okay if you cannot finish your assignments until later in the day when your parents can help.<\/p>\n Attendance:\u00a0 Your parents just have to email your teacher if you are not “in school” that day because you are sick.\u00a0 There is no need to email your teacher if you are doing your classwork.<\/p>\n Turning in Assignments- Your teachers will provide specific guidance on this. However, we may be requesting you to hand in assignments differently as we try new learning techniques.<\/p>\n Balance- I cannot stress this enough.
