All correspondences will be emailed with the most relevant information to the start of school shared in late August.\u00a0 In the meantime, all are encouraged to explore the following linked resources:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/media\/BOE\/districtcalendars\/RutherfordBOE_DistrictCalendar25-26.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2025-2026 Calendar<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/media\/docs\/PreK_3_StudentHandbook.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student Handbook<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/rutherfordschools.org\/bulldog-care\/home\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bulldog Care<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/kcenter\/about-kcenter\/school-supplies\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supply List<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/kcenter\/faq\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kindergarten Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New&#8217; Kindergarten Parent Orientation was held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.\u00a0 The following was shared:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8:30-8:45 drop off via drop off line or walk up.\u00a0 Pick up is at 2:35.\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lunch:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Purchased through the school contracted lunch program<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">(Information to be shared in August)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Purchased through local vendors via PTA.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Information to be shared in Aug\/September for October start)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brought from home in containers that are able to independently be used.\u00a0 Lunches are not heated and all utensils etc. are to be sent with them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bring to school daily:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lunch box -Snack time snack and lunch (if not ordered)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refillable water bottle<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Backpack (large enough to hold a folder and lunch box inside)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Folder\/Notebook (determined by teacher)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BulldogCare &#8211; Before and after school care. Registration opens June 10.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare your child for kindergarten by supporting their social and emotional growth.
