Spring Reminders
The Kindergarten Center is a buzz with excitement as the weather warms up! Just a few reminders as we transition to warmer weather. All shoes must have backs on them. Shoes such as flip flops and slides are considered unsafe for our students. Please do not wear them to school. Rompers often pose a challenge for students when toileting. Please be sure your child can independently navigate their clothing. Dress in layers. Running around outside has them work up a sweat but inside can be cooler. Teacher Appreciation
Thank you to all of our teachers and staff in the district!! You are appreciated all year long. To recognize the efforts of the Kindergarten Center staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, the Kindergarten Center PTA shared tokens of appreciation throughout the week and students showed their appreciation of staff with notes and beautiful illustrations. Thank you to educators everywhere! You are appreciated all year long!
Did you ever hear of Parents’ Day?
As Mother's Day approaches in the United States, kindergarten students are learning about a similar holiday celebrated in South Korea. 어버이 날 (Eobeoi Nal) is South Korea's Parents' Day that honors mothers and fathers. Instead of a separate Mother's Day and Father's Day, Korean Parents' Day is celebrated annually on May 8th.
