R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Throughout the year, character education is infused into the curriculum. The month of October focused on the characteristics of RESPECT. Children pledged to be respectful of others, themselves, and their communities! Leaves are falling and autumn is calling!
The first trip to the Lincoln Woods was a huge success as students made observations along the trail. The bright colors of fall carried into the building. Aspiring artists dabbled in sponge paint as they created their very own fall masterpieces. Students counted the various types of leaves they collected and practiced writing their numbers using sand, playdough, wikki stix, and fingerpaints! The Kindergarten Center is in full swing and we are looking forward to an amazing year! Celebrating and the Kindergarten Center celebrated John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed, on Thursday September 26th in honor of his birthday.
