The Rutherford High School Alumni Walk...A brick Paver
Fundraiser

In September 2007 the REF installed bricks in the middle entrance walkway on Elliott Place as phase I of our project. There are a few spots available in phase one, however, in 2011 we will begin Phase II of this project. Our goal is to sell enough bricks so that we can install the pavers in the walkway leading to the auditorium.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Alumni Walk Project offers you a chance to leave a bit of history behind while helping to improve the future of our schools. REF is reaching out to all alumni to be a part of this program. We also encourage members of the community with current graduates to participate. We hope you will want to show your family’s support for quality education and the Rutherford Tradition.

SUPPORTING YOUR SCHOOL
Most importantly, we hope you will want to show your family’s support for quality education and the Rutherford Tradition. Alumni Walk will be paved with bricks each measuring 4” x 8” an 8” x 8”. Samples may be viewed at the main office of the High School.

HONOR THE TRADITION
Alumni Walk is located at the entrance to the High School on Elliott Place and is paved with bricks purchased by individuals or families, each measuring either 4” x 8” or 8” x 8”. We encourage students, alumni, family and friends to purchase and personalize bricks used to pave the walk, as an opportunity to honor family and friends, commemorate special achievements or design a personal keepsake.


CONTRIBUTING OUR SHARE
The Alumni Walk achieves two purposes. It enables the REF to provide funding for school projects to help produce students with a well-rounded academic experience, as well as upgrades and it helps to maintain our school grounds. Help us to help the Rutherford Schools by being part of this one solution. We hope to raise funds through this project to continue to support district-wide projects that have a broad impact. Current initiatives include Fitness Equipment for all schools and a project to upgrade the Auditoriums and Presentation Capabilities in all schools.
