Planning for College, It is Never Too Early!

All 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders and their parents/guardians are invited to attend Planning for College, It is Never Too Early! Presented to you by the RHS Guidance Department at the Rutherford High School Auditorium on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. There will be a series of workshops for you to attend in topics including:
NCAA Requirements; Common Application and the College Application; Planning for College from Middle School to High School; Financial Planning for College; What to Expect Your First Year in College; and much more!
Arrive early to sign up for the sessions of your choice. Space is limited for each session.

Every Wednesday night throughout the school year, (excluding the nights we are holding a workshop) all students, parents/guardians, and alumni are invited to visit the guidance department to visit with a counselor. Counselors are in the office between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Please call the guidance office for an appointment. For additional information please contact the guidance department at 201-438-7675, Ext. 2241.

Union School

• Mandatory workshop on 4/14 period 1-3 (Note: those who do not
attend the workshop will not be able to participate in the
competition.)
• Competition 4/21 (Note: the competition will begin promptly 1st
period and will likely run into 4th period)
• All students who have registered for this competition are required to
be present from the start of the quiz to its completion.

Pierrepont school

• Mandatory workshop on 4/14 periods 7-9 (Note: those who do not
attend the workshop will not be able to participate in the
competition.)
• Competition 4/21 (Note: the competition will begin promptly 7th
period and may extend to as late as 3:30.)
• All students who have registered for this competition are required to
be present from the start of the quiz to its completion.
• Since the competition will extend beyond the end of the school day all
students must come with their things and will be dismissed directly
from portable 3.

*Please note: Students are responsible for getting to class on time. They will not be paged or tracked down.
Students who arrive on 4/21 after the quiz has begun will be sent back to class.
