Using the SMARTBoard
Connecting your notebook and using the SMARTBoard is easy, follow the steps below.
Plug Things In
The SMARTBoard has two parts that need to be plugged in. The USB and the Video Adapter.
The USB cable is usually beige or grey and gets plugged into one of the two ports seen by clicking here
The Video Adapter is a two part adapter. The black cable with the blue ends gets plugged into the white video adapter. The video adapter is specific for the two different notebooks, the MacBooks and iBooks.

Enable SMARTBoard Service
The SMARTBoard should have a green light if all is working correctly, however if it's not, follow the directions here.
From the Finder, click on menu item Go. Click Applications and scroll until you see SMART Board Drivers. Open that folder and click SMARTBoardService.
Your light should go green in a moment. You may also want to open the SMART Board Tools for more functionality.
