It has been reported in the Bergen Record that there is a newly hired teacher in Rutherford who has been arrested. Although he was going through the process for obtaining a position, he was not hired and has never provided services or been in contact with our students.
Please be assured that the hiring process in Rutherford is in accordance with New Jersey State Department of Education requirements for background checks and all steps are taken to ensure the safety of the students.
